Creative HUB Gallery and Artists Entrepreneurship Program

Coming Spring 2023 “Great IDEAs” exhibit: An exhibit celebrating Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility.

The Hammond Development Corporation’s Creative HUB Gallery announces its latest exhibit “Red, White &  Black: Observations on the Social, Cultural, and Political Life of Black America” beginning on Friday February 18th with an opening party from 5-8pm at the HUB, 5233 Hohman Avenue in Hammond. The event is free and open to the public.

The Creative HUB Gallery began in 2018 as part of the HDC’s mission to promote the visual and performing arts in downtown Hammond. Red, White & Black is the gallery’s sixth show. While the pandemic put a halt to live shows at the gallery, we are pleased to be back with our first in-person exhibit since 2020.

We could not be more pleased to celebrate black history month with this new show comprised of several talented black artist from the NWI region, including the works of Tyrell Anderson from his successful “Unapologetically Noir” show that has been on display in Gary.
